Duke I3T Lab had a fantastic, enriching and thought-provoking, time at IEEE VR 2025, presenting our research and engaging with the research community:
- Yanming Xiu presented our IEEE TVCG 2025 paper titled "ViDDAR: Vision Language Model-based Detrimental Content Detection for Augmented Reality"
- On behalf of Lin Duan, Yanming also presented the paper titled "Advancing the Understanding and Evaluation of AR-Generated Scenes: When Vision-Language Models Shine and Stumble" at the IEEE GenAI-XR Workshop.
- Sarah Eom presented the paper titled "Legato: Virtual Reality for Physical Rehabilitation of Patients in the Intensive Care Unit" at the IEEE XR Health Workshop.
- Yanming Xiu presented a demonstration titled "Vision Language Model-Based Solution for Obstruction Attack in AR: A Meta Quest 3 Implementation" at the IEEE VR demo session.
It was also our pleasure to catch up with Dr. Ying Chen, an alumna of the lab, who was presenting her own research group's work at the IEEE GenAI-XR Workshop and at the IEEE VR 3DUI Contest session.
